A refreshing color scheme can add life and interest to a small kitchen in India. When space is
tight, the usual solution is to prise open the white paint tin, but here's a
different approach. White is around in large slabs but confined by sea green
frames on the cupboards. The green and white combination appears on the tiling
of the splash back and in a less rigid form on floral curtain fabric. Pale
timber ceiling defines the kitchen area and the floor is timber too. Eye-level
cupboards divide work from dining without cutting off the cook from the social
